The programme covers a number of projects such as Science Centre Capacity Building (SCCB) and the Programmatic Support Grant Intervention of the network of science centres. The SCCB project has been conducted in phases. Phase I of this project was implemented with the science centre community nationally and it covered the following workshops:
Phase II of SCCB has been partially implemented. Science show workshops were conducted at various venues countrywide. The following workshops in this phase will be conducted in the 20010/11 financial year:
Through the Network programme, it is hoped that there will be an increase in networks among the science centres locally and internationally, while at the same time a remarkable capacity is developed among them. Contact: |
